Abstract
In this paper, we propose a TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN (TMCTP), and evaluate its performance by comparing with the single channel PAN management scheme. The TMCTP can form a cluster tree topology by synchronizing with parent PANs from beacons and managing beacons of its children PANs using the extended superframe structure. This characteristic provides network reliability and scalability by allowing multi-dimensional beacon scheduling through multi-channels, and also provides a coexistence method using an efficient beacon scheduling among different PANs on a dedicated single channel.
