Abstract
An ultra-fast OTDM switch based on a nonlinear optical loop mirror (NOLM) containing a commercially available highly nonlinear fibre is used successfully to demultiplex from 320 to 10 Gbit/s. No special wavelength management is used to reduce the impact of walk-off.
