Launch of IEEE GOLD EMC

The IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Society welcomes members from all around the world and at any career stage. The working world may sound intimidating to those that just got out of college. This is where the IEEE´s Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) comes in — to ease this feeling by providing resources needed to attack the tasks. GOLD EMC was launched in August 2011 in Long Beach, California at the 2011 IEEE International Symposium on EMC to engage members that recently achieved their first professional degrees (Bachelor or equivalent) and are young professionals.
