Abstract
The ultrasonic thickness measurement technique is a corrosion monitoring technology, which is widely used, but testing workers have been troubled by how to accurately locate corrosion of key parts. In this paper, the acoustic emission technique was used for testing, to determine the key positions. Through field tests, the result of acoustic emission testing was in line with the actual conditions, by means of acoustic emission technology, it can effectively assist to select corrosion measurement points, thereby improving detection reliability. It is very useful for improving safety testing refining devices in the refining petrochemical enterprises.
