Abstract :
Torque magnetometry is employed to test experimentally the in-plane surface magnetic anisotropy due to the presence of the roughness brought about by the manufacturing process of amorphous ribbons. The roughness has been simulated by sticking thin strips on a circular sample of the same material, both regularly and in a random way. The calculations and the experimental results closely agree
