Abstract
The authors comment on the paper by O.G. Martinsen et al. (ibid., vol. 48, pp. 731-4, 2001) in which they designed a measurement system for skin admittance scans with a resolution of 1 mm in two dimensions, claimed to investigate whether the mapping of low-resistance points on the skin coincides with the so-called "meridian lines." From the results, the authors conclude no such line patterns were found. The apresent authors give their own perspectives about this study.
