Abstract :
A new audio frequency magnetoresistive watt-converter is designed. It has less than 0.5% nonlinearity in the power range up to 40 W and less than 0.5% change in sensitivity in the frequency band 20 Hz-20 kHz. This type of watt-converter may be used for measurement of active power in industrial circuits with highly distorted sinusoidal signals and reasonably large reactance
