Abstract :
In this paper, the spatial and temporal variation of ionospheric foF2 (the F2 layer critical frequency) is modeled in a limited area (The ground based high-resolution ionospheric observation network in China, GBHIO). Ionospheric variation is well related with solar activity. We found out F107P is the best solar proxy to reflect solar activity in ionospheric model firstly, and established a single-station foF2 model by a quadratic pattern using F107P as input parameter. This model is more available in analysis of ionospheric anomaly disturbance as compared with monthly media and moving median. Then the ionospheric regional model in GBHIO was built based on the Fourier analysis. Cross validation was used to check out this model. It is found that the deviation is 0.6MHz. Result shows that the model reappearance the ionospheric space-time variation mostly.
