Abstract
A growing number of location based applications are available on Web. But it is not easy for general public or general mobile user to search the right service with the right requirements for their specific purpose. For example, the safety of the children and elders is an important priority for the family. In this paper we present a location detection by calling on the target mobile phone. This is an easy method for general mobile user to track any person such as child, an elder, a friend, a neighbor etc. The system works for micro addresses and provide accurate location detection. Our system also provides “user interface” to users for using the application in order to prevent the misuse of application by third person. The experimental results of the comparison of various mobile phones tested on “MicroAddress Recorder” have been presented in the paper.
