Abstract :
The computation of thin wire dipole radiation patterns using the finite-difference time-domain method is discussed. The authors describe a time-domain technique where the fields radiated by the antenna are simulated in time. A Fourier transform is then performed on the radiating fields to obtain the antenna radiation pattern in the frequency-domain.
