Abstract :
The induction motor operates on a principle that was invented almost 100 years ago. It is a dependable, low cost device still at work in our homes and factories. It took the pioneers nearly a full generation, a third of a century, to establish the principles that are learned in about one year of experience, today. Not all technology is as new as yesterday.<>
