Abstract :
A disk technique for speaker recognition is proposed. The proposed distance measure differs from existing distance measures by a statistical model. The disk distance measure is based on the Gerschgorim circle theorem. A set of experiments have been conducted, which give a 94% recognition rate for 100 Mandarin speakers
