Britain´s future business - a view from the TUC

Britain´s economic future depends on today´s investment in research and development of future products and processes, and in creating the productive capacity to `produce the goods¿. There is a growing consensus about what needs to be done. And yet arguments persist that manufacturing is a thing of the past, and that we should look to a ´low-tech´ future
