  • Abstract
    A dynamical model with multi perturbation factors of unwinding tension was established by analyzing the web press experiment platform. A tension control simulation system was constructed whose actuator is a magnetic powder brake by using MATLAB. A fuzzy adaptive PID controller was designed, and compared with the traditional PID control through experiment. The results show that the fuzzy adaptive PID strategy improved the dynamic and static characteristics of the tension control system.
