Abstract
A three-dimensional (3-D) range-finding technique, using a laser spot scanner and two linear solid-state image sensors is proposed. Both the solid-state nature of image sensors and the avoidance of correspondence problem make it possible to obtain the range data of 3-D objects with high accuracy.
