Abstract :
The paper considers block decoupling control of a linear ω-periodic discrete-time system with state feedback. The notion of the maximal reachability subspace and the method to calculate it are extended to the periodic case. Under the assumption that the input transformation is nonsingular, a necessary and sufficient solvability condition for block decoupling is represented in terms of the maximal reachability subspace
