Abstract :
A generalized injected voltage (GIV) method for a multidecade inductive voltage divider (IVD) is described. This method can be used for calibration multidecade IVDs including not only each individual decade´s settings but also combinations of decade settings in succession. The uncertainty of this method is estimated to be within 2×10-8 at 1 kHz and 2×10-7 at 10 kHz. An example of complete self-calibration for first and second decades of a multidecade IVD by the GIV method, and the corresponding data are given.
