Abstract
A taxonomy of wireless visual sensor networks for surveillance offers design goals that try to balance energy efficiency and application performance requirements. SWEETcam, a wireless smart camera network platform, tries to address the challenges raised by achieving adequate energy-performance tradeoffs.
