Abstract :
The FM response of a 1530 nm DFB laser has been measured using a novel birefringent fibre interferometer. The FM response is flat out to 12 GHz when operated at 9 mW/facet, corresponding to a linewidth of 15 MHz, and there is a 15-25 ps delay between the FM and AM responses
