Abstract
Columnist Bruce Schneier makes the case for the community needing to learn to talk about security from a nontechnical angle, especially for policy makers, who need to learn how to follow a logical approach instead of an emotional one—an approach that includes threat modeling, failure analysis, searching for unintended consequences, and everything else in an engineer´s approach to design.
