Abstract :
Flameproof apparatus, at one time largely confined to coal mining, is now used in specialized industries above ground to such an extent that many engineers are vitally concerned with it. This article gives a brief outline of the salient features of flameproof apparatus likely to be met in a variety of industrial fields.
