Abstract :
The 333d meeting of the A. I. E. E. will be held in Philadelphia, October 8, 1917. The general subject of the meeting will be Industrial Research. A discussion of industrial research should prove highly profitable and practical just at this time, when every energy is being focused on problems connected with the progress of a war, which, above everything else, is making use of every scientific advance.
