Abstract :
As indicated by the title, the author has obviously set out to produce a research monograph addressing the model reference approach to adaptive control problems. Although control technology is a fairly broad field of interest, adaptive control is a very specialized part thereof, and the model reference approach is only one of several methods for addressing adaptive problems. Thus this book is intended for an unusually small audience.
