Abstract :
A numerical algorithm for the moment method solution of printed circuit antenna problems is developed. The formulation uses a spectral domain approach. However, the integration variables are in the Cartesian instead of the polar coordinate system. This numerical scheme separates the integration involving the longitudinal and the transverse dependence of the basis functions. This aspect may reduce the computation effort drastically. The approach is found to be very efficient and easy to use, and is suitable for a variety of basis functions including mixed-type basis function sets
