  • Abstract
    Research on auditorium´s seat density in theaters is one of the most important aspects in theater research. Suitable seat density not only insures the comfort and evacuation of the audiences, but also improves the economic benefit, performance effect and acoustical quality. The seat density has the trend to reduce continually, but the disadvantage should be studied carefully. Desiding the right width, row spacing and the pattern of the chairs, is one of the most important factors of the theater design and operation.
