Abstract
Flame retardant agent and SBS modified asphalt preparation of flame retardant modified asphalt, Flame retardant properties of asphalt was studied with the cone calorimeter. The results show that, Adding 12% composite flame retardant agent in SBS modified asphalt, the heat release rate and the peak heat release rate were significantly lower than non flame retardant asphalt, the peak heat release rate decreased by 65.1%, the total heat release of flame retardant asphalt was significantly less than that of the non-flame retardant asphalt, flame retardant asphalt quality loss rate than the non-flame retardant asphalt decreased by 60.3%, the total amount of flame retardant asphalt smoke release is less than the non-flame retardant asphalt.
