  • Abstract
The ecological security is an important part of the national security, and the evolution of ecological security is an important research subject of ecological security. We built the evaluation system of ecological security of trade pedestrian streets in Chongqing according to the model of Pressure -- State -- Response, and applied the model of coupling of the entropy weight and attribute distinction theory to comprehensive assess the ecological security of trade pedestrian streets from 1999 to 2009. The evaluation show that: the ecological security had a good developing trend, and the total score of ecological security rose from 1999 to 2009. From 1999 to 2003, insecurity, close to security in 2004, relative insecurity in both 2005 and 2006, critical security in both 2007 and 2008, relative security in 2009. The overall condition of ecological environment of trade pedestrian streets in Chongqing was not very well, but it had a good developing trend. The comprehensive assessment had a better consistency with the truth, and the applying of attribute theory in the evaluation of ecological security is feasible.
