Abstract :
A new cavity for millimetre and submillimetre-wave solid-state oscillators is demonstrated. The cavity consists of a Fabry-Perot resonator with a grooved mirror. It has a high Q-factor and may be used for power combining of solid-state sources. Experimental results from X-band models of the cavity are presented
