Abstract
Presents a comparative study to calculate the performance of grounding grids by different methods, taking into account nonuniform current distributions over the conductors. The equations are obtained, directly by integral operations from basic concepts. The numerical results are compared with those of two other analytical methods. Computed basic performance of typical grounding electrodes, obtained by using these methods, is almost identical.
