Abstract :
In August 2008, TerraSAR-X acquired dual-polarimetric data over Central Florida, USA in three repeat orbits for the express purpose of meteorology studies. The cover displays two acquisitions, which occurred during severe storms, as seen in the ground-based weather radar images. Further composite RGB TerraSAR-X images show the storm-induced attenuation and backscatter plus a "no rain" case.
