  • Abstract
    A lumped model for the dynamic behaviour of integrated interconnections is presented. This model is obtained by reducing the RC network generated from a bidimensional discretisation of the interconnection; all its internal nodes are eliminated by means of a first order approximation. This model is specially suitable for multiterminal and irregularly shaped interconnections, and it reproduces both the delay and load impedance effects quite accurately
