Electrical assistant

The United States Civil Service Commission announces an examination on September 29, 1909, at all of the larger cities of the United. States to secure eligibles from which to make certification to fill two or more vacancies in the position of electrical assistant in the Signal Service at Large, War Department, at $1,080 per annum, and vacancies requiring similar qualifications as they may occur in any branch of the service, unless it shall be decided in the interests of the service to fill the vacancies by reinstatement, transfer, or promotion.
