Abstract :
Measurement and control link includes 16-b processor and 28-kilobyte user-partitioned RAM: The 2400 measurement and control link can be programmed from a host computer to perform a variety of measurements, including temperature, voltage, current, resistance, and pressure. Transducer inputs are converted to engineering units with programmable mathematical functions or up to 12 standard temperature linearizations. The data acquisition device employs a language similar to Basic that is easy to learn and remember. For controlling critical parameters, the 2400A provides such capabilities as programmable voltage, current, resistance, and status.
