Abstract :
History of The Standardization Rules The first step taken by the Institute toward the standardization of electrical apparatus and methods was a topical discussion on “The Standardization of Generators, Motors and Transformers,” which took place simultaneously in New York and Chicago on the evening of January 26, 1898. The discussion appears in the Institute Transactions, Vol. XV, pages 3 to 32.
