  • Abstract
    With the development of electric vehicles in recent years, the demonstration operation of electric taxis has been introduced to many cities. Currently, the prominent problems during the operation include the unreasonable layout of charging stations, the inadequacy of charging facilities, etc. Reasonable layout of charging stations in the region will directly affect the operational efficiency of electric taxis. This paper primarily analyzes the travel characteristics and charging features of the electric taxis and proposes the method of calculating the radius of the charging station service, which provides an important basis for the rational distribution of the charging stations.
