  • Abstract
    The business environment in which firms operate nowadays experience major challenges from economic crisis, societal disparity and environmental degradation. University, as an originator of advanced knowledge in various disciplines, have recently put tremendous effort in transforming itself to respond to the needs of students and community to be “Entrepreneurial University” where university is an infrastructure in crafting entrepreneurs with intellectual, financial, and network resources. This paper proposes integrated model of entrepreneurial university by combining Timmons Model, Triple Helix Model, Resource-based View, Innovation and Learning Theories to answer definition, characteristics, and processes of entrepreneurial university. By in-depth interview with academia experts in entrepreneurship, it reveals that entrepreneurial university creates entrepreneurial students through mentoring teacher that explore opportunity via government and industrial connection. Learning resources is refocused for action learning and business planning with flexibility. Innovation is shared value among actors including students, teachers, staffs, alumni, industry, government, funding agency, and community.
