  • Abstract
    The complete nomenclature of nonmagnetic and magnetic groups of symmetry describing all the possible symmetries of constitutive tensors of continuous homogeneous isotropic media under external perturbation is presented. This nomenclature contains 57 continuous and discrete groups which classify different tensor media. Some applications of the theory are discussed
