Abstract :
For part I see ibid., vol.28, pp.1988-95 (1992). Significant improvements in the persistence of disk lubrication thickness profiles are reported from observation over five years of head/disk assembly (HDA) field spin time for a final version of particulate media. This direct long-term monitoring has more validity than previous attempts at accelerated lube performance testing
