Magazine update - December 2012 [Message from the Editor-in-Chief]

The opportunity to serve as EiC for Communications Magazine for the past three years has been one of the greatest honors and privileges in my career. As noted in my introductory editorial, Communications Magazine is the one publication that I have valued enough to read consistently over the years. Between serving as a series editor, guest editor, AEiC, and EiC, being involved with the magazine has been a very significant part of my life for the past 15 years. The last three years have been very eventful for the magazine, and it seems appropriate to provide some highlights in my last EiC editorial. Many of these tie directly to the goals laid out in the introductory editorial.
