Abstract :
This is my virgin effort at a column since agreeing to Ross Stone´s invitation to help boost the propagation content of the AP-S Newsletter. I consider myself in the business of waving the flag for propagation, so his offer was a welcome one. Additionally, I´ve been most im ressed with Ross´ fine work on the Newsletter, which f feel serves a real need in our Society, and I would like to support it. My contention is that the Trunsuctions, an excellent journal indeed, is primarily for the benefit of authors, but that the Newsletter serves the needs of readers, particularly the ones not competing on the research frontiers in our field.
