Abstract
Computer users have consistently sought out improvements to devices for removable storage to provide the quickest and most efficient means of transferring data from one computer to another. Portable storage media have always been fraught with risk. Security considerations have always been a concern and organizations have tried to mitigate these threats using many controls. However, since threats are constantly evolving and changing, security controls must also evolve and change to keep up with these threats.
