Abstract :
A novel microstrip antenna consisting of a stacked annular ring coupled to a shorted circular patch is presented. This new geometry offers a large impedance bandwidth, a higher gain and lower cross-polarisation levels in the H- and E-planes. Experimental results are compared with theoretical values
