Abstract :
This paper describes the closed-loop control of a single-phase pulsewidth modulated (PWM) inverter using the generalized predictive control (GPC) algorithm. This approach determines the desired switching signals by minimizing a cost function that reduces the tracking error and the control signals. Experimental results have demonstrated that the prototype system performs well
