Abstract :
The nature and properties of crosslinked materials are discussed and a number of applications described for which a background of experience has already been obtained. The advantages of using these materials for medium-voltage applications are considered and an attempt made at forecasting their long-term performance for the termination of 11 and 33kV cables.
