Abstract :
We develop a reconfigurable reflectarray using digitally addressable complementary electric LC (CELC) metamaterials. The surface is composed of addressable CELC resonators, which are tuned to achieve a spatial gradient in the reflection coefficient phase angle. This gradient is used to deflect normally incident plane waves in a controlled nonspecular direction.
