Abstract :
The location information of the sensor node is very important and should be known by the end user to take full advantage of the sensor network. In this paper, we proposed a non-iterative localization approach for wireless sensor network (WSN) using multi-dimensional scaling (MDS) method. MDS offers various advantages. It is robust to environmental errors, provides accurate localization, and calculates the location of all the sensor nodes in a network at the same time not individually. It also provides the relative locations of the nodes in the absence of anchor nodes.
