Evaluation of social public policy: Department of social development in Honduras

E-Government is about bringing the government and its citizens together, and to make this a tight relationship between the government and its people trust is paramount. This paper presents an implementation of a Monitoring and Evaluation tool in Honduras, one of its kind in this country. An online tool called Single System of Evaluation of Social Public Policy (Sistema Único de Evaluación de Políticas Públicas Sociales: SUEPPS). By means of SUEPPS the government aims to become a more transparent institution, to make better decisions and to be able to share the outcomes of the social projects, programs and policy with the general public.
