  • Abstract
    This article consists of a collection of slides from the author´s conference presentation. The article discussed data communication between the cockpit and controllers to replace some current voice communications. Safety-of-flight air traffic control (ATC) clearances, instructions, traffic flow management, flight crew requests and reports. Provides direct link between ground automation and flight deck avionics.
