Abstract :
An anisotropic-medium perfectly matched layer (PML) for efficient Laguerre-based finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is presented. To verify the validity of the presented method, a numerical example of scattering from a two-dimensional rectangular conductor is given. Compared with Mur´s absorbing boundary condition, the presented PML shows better absorbing performance.
