Abstract :
The. problem is to calculate the dielectric loss in a waveguide partially filled across its smaller dimension. A numerical solution can be found which applies for any ratio of dielectric thickness to height of guide, but only when the dielectric loss is small. Numerical results agree with some obtained by previous authors.
